Last updated: March 2026
1. Who We Are
Wardly ("Wardly", "we", "us", "our") is a SaaS analytics product operated by Market Catalyst Enterprises LLC, a company registered in New Mexico, USA. Wardly is accessible at wardly.app.
This Privacy Policy governs all data collected and processed by Wardly. For privacy-related inquiries, contact us at privacy@wardly.app or support@wardly.app.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register for Wardly, we collect your name, email address, and account credentials.
Google Analytics Data: Wardly connects to your Google Analytics (GA4) account via OAuth. With your explicit authorization, we read your GA4 property data — including traffic metrics, conversion events, revenue data, and audience information — for the purpose of generating automated insights. We do not modify, delete, or write data to your GA4 account. A processed copy of your GA4 data is stored within our secure cloud infrastructure solely to generate insights on your behalf.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with Wardly, including pages visited, features used, and session duration, for the purpose of improving the product.
Payment Information: Wardly does not collect or store payment card information. All payment processing is handled by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all Wardly transactions.
Communications: If you contact us by email, we retain the content of your message and your email address to respond to your inquiry.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Wardly service
- Connect to your Google Analytics account and generate automated insights on your behalf
- Process subscriptions and manage your account
- Send you service-related communications, including insight digests and account notifications
- Respond to your support requests and inquiries
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the product
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your Google Analytics data for any purpose other than generating insights for your own use within the Wardly platform.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing personal data are:
- Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide you with the Wardly service under our Terms and Conditions.
- Consent: Your explicit OAuth authorization to access your Google Analytics data. You may revoke this consent at any time by disconnecting Wardly from your Google account.
- Legitimate interests: Processing for fraud prevention, security monitoring, and improving our services, where these interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We share your data only with the following categories of third parties, and only as necessary to provide the Wardly service:
- Paddle: Our Merchant of Record for payment processing, subscription management, and tax compliance.
- Google: We interact with Google's APIs to read your GA4 data under your authorization. Your use of Google's services is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
- Infrastructure providers: We use third-party cloud infrastructure providers to host, store, and process data. These providers are bound by data processing agreements and maintain appropriate security standards.
We do not share personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes. We may disclose personal data if required to do so by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.
6. Google API Data Policy
Wardly's use of data obtained through Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use your Google Analytics data to provide Wardly's analytics insight features — never for advertising, profiling, or resale.
- We do not allow humans to read your GA data unless you have given us explicit permission or it is required for security purposes.
- We do not transfer your Google Analytics data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account information and processed analytics data for as long as your account remains active. If you cancel your subscription or request account deletion, we will delete your personal data and processed GA4 data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability: Request a machine-readable export of your data.
- Objection: Object to certain types of processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdrawal of consent: Withdraw consent at any time (including revoking Google Analytics access) without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@wardly.app. We will respond within 30 days.
9. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@wardly.app.
10. Cookies
Wardly uses essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the service.
11. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to user data within our team is restricted on a need-to-know basis.
12. Children's Privacy
Wardly is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16 without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice within the Wardly application. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of Wardly following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
